tbw research manages and coordinates the project in close coordination with the initiators Vienna Economic Chamber & Wien Energie. We bring expertise in the management of large project teams, the cooperation with the funding institutions and in the thematic field of electric taxis in Vienna.
With the help of research & innovation, we are making our contribution to climate-friendly mobility. Electromobility is part of our portfolio: we have been supporting initiatives around electric taxis in Vienna for many years. eTaxi Austria is to be a showcase project in Austria and beyond.
Contribution to the mobility transition:
If urban cab fleets are considered part of the environmental network and converted to electrically powered vehicles, eTaxi Austria achieves direct environmental effects. The rollout planning for transfer to other cities and fleets (e.g. parcel delivery) serves as a multiplier towards the mobility transition.
