As the representative body of the Viennese taxi industry, it is our task to safeguard their interests and to support them in the event of major changes. We incorporate our practical knowledge into the project in order to create the best possible framework conditions for our members.
The taxi industry has always been very sustainable and relies on state-of-the-art technologies. The plan to decarbonise the entire taxi fleet is the next big milestone in the history of the transport industry. And it must be well prepared.
Contribution to the mobility transition:
Vienna’s taxi fleet is one of the most modern in Europe. This is also proven by the fact that more than half of all taxis are already hybrid. A full electrification of the fleet will further improve both driving comfort and life in Vienna.
